For us, sustainability doesn't start with processing organic outer fabrics, but already with the development of our products: high-quality, durable, and timelessly fashionable! With this understanding and aspiration, Wellington of Bilmore has been developing clothing for almost 40 years, and thus, sustainability is not a new concept for us, but an integral core of our brand.

Wellington of Bilmore thus clearly opposes the trend of "fast fashion," which is largely responsible for the high CO2 emissions of the textile and apparel industry due to the use of short-lived materials and a large number of collections.

Positive aspects of cooperating with European suppliers include short supply chains, the assurance of fair wages and working conditions, and last but not least, often centuries of experience and expertise.

Production in Europe not only offers advantages in delivery times, but also reduces CO2 emissions from logistics. A high degree of flexibility is based on smaller production quantities with consistent processing quality to bridge seasonal bottlenecks and requirements.
